Pickled cauliflower in vinegar

Ingredients:pickled cauliflower

1 cauliflower

500 ml. of vinegar

500 ml. water

2-3 bay leaves

pepper

2-3 tablespoons sugar (or honey)

celery

horseradish

How is done: Clean the cauliflower, wash and unwrap it and put in jars. Among the cauliflower put patches and horseradish and celery.
For the brine: Boil vinegar with water, leaves of bay, pepper and sugar (or honey). Let it boil a bit then pour it hot in jars. Let it cool then close the jars.

Pickled cucumbers in layers of vines

Ingredients: pickled cucumbers

1.5 kilograms of cucumbers

a root of horseradish

some dill

thyme

1 scoop of grain mustard

2 liters of water

120 g salt

2 tablespoons of vinegar

1/2 loaf garlic

vine leaves

How to prepare: Wash the cucumbers and put them in a vessel with the horseradish (cleaned) and cut strips. Boil the water with salt and then pour the hot brine over the cucumbers. Cover the vessel and leave it until the next day. The next day take out the cucumbers and wrap each in a leaf of vine. Put them in jars and add dill, thyme, garlic, horseradish and grain mustard. Boil again the brine in which the cucumbers stood over night and pour it hot in the jars. Add vinegar and close the jars, then wrap each jar with a blanket until it cools.
